I will NEVER let AnyDesk force me to pay them. Or any PC you have at home as well (it requires some knowledge but manual explains it well) and then the speed isn't an issue. Of course with RustDesk you can always set up your own server on any server you're renting or own. Of course public server is slower than AnyDesk. Basically it's a simple Remote Desktop app that also has a portable version so no need to install. Has everything you need and it's open source and free. Of course I'm assuming they will block older versions from connecting to their server to stop this workaround eventually. Target PC can use latest version and it won't bother you on your end. You only need it for your client (as in the PC on your end, not the target PC you're connecting to) to work. Versions up to 7.0.14 work without any of the limitations.
